[RESOLVED] [Pro] No auto play
Hi guys. Just noticed that when I insert a dvd or cd or a flash drive I no longer get that pop up window asking what you want to do. The one that says 'Open Folder' or 'Open with WMP.'
I have to manually navigate to whatever I have inserted and click on the file.
How do I get it back?
Thanks ppl.

Find your drive/s in Explorer, then right click which one you have, chose Properties, then the AutoPlay tab. Chose either, Select an Action to perform, or Prompt me (this one is at the bottom of the Autoplay window).

Which one is it set to? Prompt is what I have and then when I insert a disk the message comes up asking what I want to do. Is that the way yours is?
You might try setting it to which ever one it's not set to, reboot, then tick the prompt setting.

Each option is/was already set to Prompt. Mine used to ask me what I wanted to do after inserting a disk, but now I get nothing .

Crunchie - would you mind providing the link or the name and location on Kelly's site? I've looked and looked, but can't find it - frankly a bit overwhelmed by the considerable offerings.
Thanks.
