    Resolved [RESOLVED] Nero and LightScribe

    I just updated my nero 7 and after the update. I'm getting a LightScribe error!
    And I don't have a LightScribe!

    LightScribe error:
    A communication error has occurred with the LightScribe drive.
    Please restart your pc and try again
    Any ideas on how to fix?

    I was able to fix it!
    A little regedit and fixed!

    Well, I'm glad. I hunted google for you problem with no real results. Nothing that partained to no lightscribe drive anyway.

    Well what I had to do was,
    Remove all lightscribe keys from the reg
    Then deleted the lightscribe folder here: C:\Program Files\Common Files
    Most of the reg keys pointed to there!

    Seeing as you didn't find anything, I thought I'd post what I had to do!

    Appreciate you posting your solution. I would guess, the Nero update added the Lightscribe feature.
    I found articles on how to use Lightscribe, and everything inbetween, but nothing on what happens if you don't have a lightscribe drive.
