I was wondering if anyone has bought ink discount (most probably refilled) ink cartridges and what sites they've had good luck with.

I buy all my ink on ebay, for my Cannon and HP printers. I have a couple of favorite sellers that have darned good prices on new sealed in the box ink cartriges. The last time I bought a four pack for my Cannon its cost me 15.00 plus 4.95 shipping.

I used to buy mine at the Walmart down the road until my computer guy mentioned Newegg. Their Lexmark prices are good.
Why do you say this place is going downhill, I think it's helpful and interesting.

The best place I've found and the one I recommend is Compubiz Inkjet .
Prices are good and shipping is by USPS and very fast...
And no,I don't work for them. Only a satisfied customer.

We used 123iinkjets.com and had good results a couple times; then the last (and I do mean LAST!) time we got cartridges that were totally unuseable.

You never mentioned what prband printer you have.
I have always refilled my 'tanks' with bulk ink. I huge savings and with my older Cannon i560 and the modified tanks from Colorbat;
http://www.colorbat.com/products.php?id=11
I can refill the 'tanks' within the printer itself, I don't have to remove them!
BTW; you can still get the i560 if you look hard enough, though it will be around list price (or more) as it was Cannons' best printer before they and all other manufactures locked out many refill kits and procedures.
Copyright protection & Intellectual property my ass. All the studios want is more money & control.

I tried the refill thingy before with my Cannon, I got about half a page and the print head plugged. Like I said in my other post I have a couple of good sellers on ebay and I get the real deal cheap. A Cannon four pack for 10.00 to 15.00 plus shipping 4.95 usually, I can live with that.

I get mine Here:
http://www.databazaar.com/databazaar...4/Catalog/1529
The ones I got were not the Brand Name cartridges but they have worked just fine. For my Brother MFC the original cartridges at the store were $13.99 color and $23.99 each for black. At Databazaar I paiid $3.20 each color & black. For my brother Laser In the store $76, Databazaar $23. These were all Brand New Cartridges, no refurbished or refilled.
