    Unhappy I can't use Partition Magic 8.5 xmnt2002 error

    Hi,
I bought Partition Magic 8.5 and when i use it and apply the changes it ask me to reboot the system. After rebooting and before Windows loads up it shows me a blue screen with "xmnt2002 program not found - skipping autocheck" then Windows loads up and there is no changes........

After you installed Partition Magic 8.5, did you reboot the machine?
If not, you may have to uninstall Partition Magic 8.5, reboot, then install and reboot again. Your registry may not have got updated?

Sounds like your boot sector is to full, so make the floppy and use it.

Can you borrow a usb floppy drive?

No, when the boot sector is like that, then nothing works like you found out.

You will need to make a bootable PM cd then.

Maybe not as I just found out the PM 8 cd is bootable, maybe yours is too.
