Go Get It !
New K-Lite Codec pack out as of 10/27.
edit: Train informed me that my link was giving popups to an ad site. I have my security set high,so I only got a blank box on the task bar. Any way,use his link to get the Codec pack.
Sorry if anyone was hit by the ad(s)...

Do you think it's always worth upgrading to the latest pack? Has anyone ever noticed any sort of visual or audible improvements?
The one I'm using is about a year old and I don't have any problems playing any file types or media.

They say
Changes from K-Lite Codec Pack 3.5.0 FULL to K-Lite Codec Pack 3.5.3 FULL :
- Updated ffdshow to revision 1576
- Updated CoreWavPack to version 1.1.1
- Workaround for a bug in the "Open File" dialog of WMP
- Some fixes for 64-bit versions of Windows
- Minor changes
Did not check the other 2 versions.
64-bit seems the biggy this time.

Don't know if it will make a difference, but I decided to tuck it away because I'll be installing Vista shortly and thought some of the upgrade may be for the vista system...
