Is there anyway to require a different Password for both the MCP and ACP using vBulletin than the one used to login to the forum?

I think this could be a security issue for the vBulletin forum setup.

And I don't have the username and password to log into vBulletin's forum to ask there.

the only way , and it's a good way , is to use one account for surfing and another for moderating.

I was able to find these,

We recommend that forum owners place an .htaccess based username and password on their admincp and modcp directories. This will achieve what you suggest without requiring modifications to the software and provides two distinct layers of protection.
