New Promotional Video...

I found it funny, although the views of Blimptv are in no way the same as Virtual Dr or the OP.

Yeah, it`s funny Liam
Do you think Vista is getting a worse press than XP when it first came out?
I`m seeing the same sort of criticisms everywhere from people who have not even tried it out.
It`s the same every time something new comes along, people just don`t want change.

If it ain't broke, leave it alone.

Yep, people are scared of change, but it is inevitable, you can't just keep piling things in to old operating systems, XP SP9 would be about 35gb and include mind-controlled navigation and Direct X 22.4.
Interesting vid linked here: http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquir...tprint-windows
It could be the start of a new less bloated Windows, but Vista can still be shrunk down easily enough by the user, and turn off most of the bells and whistles, MS are still going to support XP for a while longer so people aren't being forced to upgrade, if they are aware of OEM versions of XP and are willing to shop around if buying a pre-built system (Dell are trying to stay ahead of the game and seem to be pushing Vista at you every chance they get) then i don't really see the problem. The early adopters of Vista have had plenty of time to play around, if there is a feature you don't like i bet you can turn it off with a little help from our friend google, what time does your mind open?

Vista will be the spawn of Satan until the day that Windows Vienna is released, at which point Vista will immediately become the best version of Windows that was ever made Just like with WinXP

Vista is held in much the same contempt that XP was held in when it was launched.Bloated, requiring better hardware, lack of driver support at launch, lack of driver support for older hardware, difficult to get older software to run on............and thats just the highlights.
As for the interface heres a freeware one that supposidly works on XP

With XP being removed from the shelves at the end of 2007, many people won't have a choice. I already recommend my customers getting Vista instead of XP although XP is still more stable. Vista needs time to until it reaches XP status and then will probably pass it as the best ever OS to date.
