    Looks like you had good seats JP. If the Mets don't come out of their tail spin they're not going to make the play-offs, let alone win there division. I don't know what happened to them the last half of the season.

    Field level seats, but a 300mm zoom lens. I was between 1st base and right field.

    I know what happened to them. They fell back to earth. Their success, this season and last, was illusion.

    Shea Stadium opened on April 17, 1964

    Yeah, probably going to tear it down so they can get rid of the cheap seats like the other stadiums have done. Mariners did it using tax money.

    It never had the character the Polo Grounds had anyway, just as well.

    the new stadium is based on Ebbets field. The Mets owner is a devout Dodgers fan from way back. He's also a blithering idiot and a cheapskate. His offspring are even worse. Definitely from the shallow end of the gene puddle.
