    Very nice...very clear.

Now here is a question: When you look at the full moon, do you see a rabbit or a face?

    Ha..!!

Many Moons Ago....sorry, couldn't help it...

Actually, it was back in the early '70's...I had a 35mm SLR with a 400mm telephoto...put a 'doubler' lens on that and then added a 'tripler' lens to that...put the monster on a tripod and took some interesting pictures of a total Lunar eclipse...used a cable to take long shutter exposures of the different phases. The movement of the Moon across the film made some interesting pictures...fun to do.

I have a "spotting scope" that was designed to use at gun ranges. The darn thing is like a 5000mm lens. It managed to get it to fit on one of my 35mm cameras via an adaptor. Add one of those doubler adaptors and I can see my pretty darn far.

This camera is a fixed lens super zoom, 28-300, but has threads on the end to extend. I may look into adding to the zoom factor at some point.

    Great shot JP

I don't think mine is capable of capturing the moon in its full glory ... I'll have to try the next time its relatively close
