    System repair

I started a system repair of XP on a friends pc. I needed to stop it though before it finished and now when I try to boot, Windows keeps restarting the setup.
How can I boot back in to XP without getting detoured to setup again?

I don`t know of any way to stop the Repair if you have passed all the options to quit.

If it starts again at the beginning look for the F3 option to quit.
If it starts again from where it left off in the middle of the repair I don`t know of a way to stop it.

Sorry. I hope someone else can help you

If it ain't broke, leave it alone.

Like Elaine, I don't know a way of stopping the System repair as well. (except for pressing the on/off button)
You don't mean System Restore by any chance?
If so have a look here.

If you're talking about a Restore, let it finish; you can always undo it after the fact.

I don't think I'd want to interrupt either one, if it's resuming automatically at startup. Very few Windows processes are so important that they're remembered after a shutdown and restart.
