[RESOLVED] Shut Index OFF...can't turn back ON
Okay, so on the advice of CNET.com, I read the "How to Speed up Vista" tutorial and performed some of the actions they listed which included turning off indexing.
I would like to turn it back on, but I cannot becuase the buttons are not highlighted. Am I screwed?

Is indexing importrant?

One of the best features of Vista is its high-speed searching, and Indexing is part of that. If you leave it off, then it will take a lot longer to find files and folders, etc.
