[RESOLVED] New .text document missing
Hi!
When I right click to open the context menu New, the new .text document entry is no longer available. How can I get it back? Thank you for any help.

TweakUI has an option to add it back. "Free" Power Toy from Microsoft:

Or download this .txt file and rename it to new textdocument.reg
doubleclick to import to your registry.

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the second doesn't work and I don't know what to do the Tweak UI. I saw you can delete some or all of the new documents entries in the list, but don't know how to create a .text doc entry. Could you be more specific? Thanks again.

What is the error you get by importing the registry key?
You should save it and chose 'all file types' in stead of textdocument.
But an other way is to create an empty text document (on your desktop for example)
Open TweakUI, go to templates
Then press 'Create' and chose the new empty textdocument as template.
Voilá, c'est tout.
