[RESOLVED] What Happened ???
I just got an email this morning that airmail.net email address is no more. Here is what I received from a friend.
Please note that, after over 15 uears, the airmail.net address died. The price was a little over $6 per month.
Does anyone know what happened to the ISP Internet America ? They were one of the first ISPs in the country.
Thanks,
Linda

You might try airmail.net's "Email Support":

Sorry guys, I mis-understood.
When I got the email from a friend that said that airmail.net was dead, I thought that meant no more Internet America.
I have since learned that the issue was that he wanted to retail his airmail email address, which he had used for almost 13+ years, even after he had switched to ATT DSL service 5 years ago. So he had been paying $72 per year to maintain this POP3 email address. He tried to negotiate with them for a lower fee but they were not willing, so he switched to a $20 a year vendor.
Thanks for taking to time to assist me in this.
Cheers,
Linda
