    Since you already have installed the USB driver and it works it's probably best to leave it alone and not mess with it. Just use it and enjoy it.

    If at first you don't succeed.... start working on the next version of Windows.

    I finally got around to calling the cable co. and they said that I will not be charged for having more than one computer hooked up...said that I can have as many as I want.

    I suppose that you're right, Dr. Bob, the usb 'puter is working fine. It's just that when the word 'registry' is mentioned, I tend to get a bit jittery..

    Leavethings alone for now.
    But I do suggest researching the benefits of having a router for possible future use.
