Yes, it is very "hard" to "set-up".
Keep in mind, folks, that you can't hide in windows98 forever. I understand that MS plans to stop supporting it in 2003. Ol' Bill is going to force everyone to move on whether we like it or not. And when XP gets a foothold, we are all going to be treated like dinosaurs. I did find one thing I like about ME. There is a really neat pinball game included. Other than that...well...I can't wait until I get started fixing the Emachine.

So it's futile to argue against the Fates,
When the OS's are owned by Mr. Gates.
Cling to 98 as long as you can,
But be prepared when the sh-- hits the fan.
"XP Is Coming!" Microsoft's Battle Cry!
"95's gone! 98? Say bye-bye!"
"XP will take over everyone's 'puter!
It's New and Improved, (and besides...it's "Cuter"!)
"We offer this as the Ultimate OS!
(We might even rename it "Windows 'BS'")!
So our days are being counted, as we "hold down the fort",
When Win 98, they'll no longer support
But we'll stay here, 'cause even with it's quirks,
We know for the most part: Win 98 works!
Dedicated to all Win 98 VDr members....
In loving memory to maxximillian too...

Hmmm...
"I understand that MS plans to stop supporting it in 2003."
And everyone seems to be happy with the job they've done so far. The manual is really nice.
