[RESOLVED] Housecall Scan
We used the House Call scan to check our desk top. It found 71 "problems". We clicked the clean now and it just sits there and does nothing. We have scanned 4 times already and get the same thing each time. How can we get these off our cpu if House Call will not "clean" them?
We have a firewall, run antivir which updates and scans daily but it must have missed all these things. OS is WIN XP.
Thanks for any suggestions.

After reading their TOS,I no longer feel comfortable using housecall. I would suggest you use CA's scanner ...
Stupid question? No such thing!

Thank you ridge. I finally got them all off there and no, I am not impressed with HC any longer either. I am not sure how we even got all the "cooties" to start with, we scan weekly, have a firewall, use antivir, rarely open anything we do not know who it is from.
Thanks for the help.

Glad to hear you got it cleaned up. Just to mention, another very good(and free) tool to keep junk from getting on in the first place is SpywareBlaster .You just need to check for updates frequently which is very simple...
