    Thumbs down [Pro] SECURITY UPDATE FAILURE

    I have received a security update for Microsoft.net framework, version 1.1 service pack 1 (KB928366)

    NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I DOWNLOAD AND TRY TO INSTALL THIS UPDATE, IT COMES BACK EVERY TIME AS A NEW FOUND UPDATE FOR INSTALL...
    Heard at a local auto-repair shop:
    "I couldn't repair your brakes,
    so I made your horn louder."

    Have a look at your install history. Has it failed? Or have you already installed version 2.0 or 3.0?

    This update is casuing the same problem for many people. There doesn't appear to be a soultion as yet, but normally MS are pretty quick to bring out an updated version when a patch causes difficulties.

    Or you could uninstall .NET Framework 1.1 altogether, if you have versions 2 & 3 installed it is highly unlikely that you will need 1.1.
