    Resolved [RESOLVED] 'My Computer' icon moved to desktop... want it on my Start menu as well

    Hi,

    I did not know what happened, but I noticed for a few weeks already that 'My Computer' icon had disappeared from the Start menu, and it is now on my Desktop.

    Can someone tell me how can I have the icon
    - BACK on Start menu, and ALSO
    - on Desktop

    I am using WinXP (Home) SP2.

    Appreciate your help, you guys & gals had been a wonderful and helpful bunch !

    Right-clcik on the Taskbar and choose Properties. Then go to the Start Menu tab, click Cutomize, and in the list you'll see an entry for My Computer. Choose "display as a link" or "display as a menu" as you prefer.
