    [Pro] etc folder is missing files!!

    I am having some name resolution problems outlined in another post in the networking section and noticed that the hosts file along with all other files are not present in the etc folder!!

    This is on a new install of Windows XP.

    Any thoughts??

    Tried this on another machine, all of the files dissapear when the machine is added to the domain.
