You'd be a lot better off to keep NOD and get rid of McAfee. NOD32 is the very best AV of all, IMO, while McAfee is one of the worst.

Missing from Control Panel and Explorer

Start/Run and type in
regedit

Navigate to the key below by clicking the + signs
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

Right click “CurrentVersion” in the left pane and select
new DWORD Value
It will appear in the right pane.
Rename it to NoFolderOptions
and set it to equal 0
Log-off or restart Windows for the changes to take effect.

Go to the link below and scroll down to Line 129 (left column) and click on "Restore Folder Options Under Tools" to download a reg file fix. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
