[me] Mouse Will Not Work, Desktop Is Huge!

Hello,

Can someone please help me out? I had this problem last year - but just recently I threw out the record of how I fixed it. I vaguely remember that some random characters got saved into the very beginning of a file and once those were removed and the file resaved - things got back to normal. (Of course I had to update the driver and eventually had to reinstall ME.) The first step was that jacked up file though. I cannot remember the type of file or where to find it. If this sounds familiar to anyone - please reply. If someone will at least point me to the right site for the fix info I will be grateful. Thanks!

(By the way - every bit of my computer is ancient. I got it in 2001. I know - I need to upgrade but can't afford it right now.)

Have you tried a SYSTEM RESTORE?? (If i bootup w/o my monitor on the same thing happens (My desktop gets big) and i have to do a restore to get it back (If i want things correct that is (My monitor shares memory with the computer (8 Megs) and if i bootup w/o it on,it screws things up )))
