Don't want to upset my American friends But....
My son has just come back from a business trip to America and these two of the questions he was asked while over there.
"My god you're from the UK how quaint do you know John", he had to explain that there's 59 million of us over here.
He was very close to where our Queen was visiting and he was asked "were you on the same flight" unfortunately he was a bit naughty and replied yes, and said he had a drink with them on the plane.
Qualifications:
I have read:
Windows 3.11 for Dummies
Windows 95 for Dummies (Second Chapter)
Fed up with UK 0870 Phone Numbers
Backup Boogaloo, you know it makes sense to do.

Reminds me of the story about when my cousins from northern US came to visit us in Texas. They thought we rode horses to school and were disappointed they couldn't ride em..
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I always thought there was only one John, and he had really bad teeth and drove an MG......
Bash him into the ground, make jokes and call him names while he's alive...Revere him when he dies. Pathetic.

A few years back, I ain't saying how many, I was in Boston and a person found out I was from Iowa. He made a comment about probably not having indoor bathrooms and further thought we still fought indians out here.

Maybe that person was confused with "going to the John" or being a "John"
The true test of character is not how much we
know how to do, but how we behave when we don't know what to do

Are you sure he wasn't asking about Jon? It sounds the same but spelled differently. And EVERYBODY knows who Jon is!
