    ZA Update - Can't load b/c of CA Antivirus

    Hi all,

    I am trying to update my ZA on my Win XP Home machine, but it will not let me update b/c it continues to say that my CA Antivirus (version 8.4.0.11) is running. I have tried snoozing the AV but it still won't let me update this and says the same error - something like CA Antivirus is running and needs to be uninstalled for ZA to update.

    3. Reinstall CA
    ?

    I have the free version of CA and cannot reload it if I uninstall it. Is this the only way possible?

    Uninstall CA and then install Alwil's avast! Home Edition (free version)?
