    Arthur C. Clarke, Fractals, & the M-Set

This documentary was made about 10 years ago but it is still amazing to watch...it's about 1 hr. long but I thought that it was worth posting the link.

Reminds me of the old kaleidescopes and of course the paisley design. I always liked the paisley design...had paisley sweaters, ties, etc...

I recall the Mandelbrot Set when I was doing alot of reading on the subject of Chaos Theory....

I like the Chaos Theory......it's reassurance that my destiny is not pre-determined.

Sci Fi books by Arthur C. Clarke were some of my first fun reads back in my teen years in the fifties. I've always admired him and always will...

I was always a Science Fiction reader...the real good science fiction...fiction only in the fact that the technology hadn't caught up with reality. And Arthur C. Clarke was and is one of the best in that category, along with my personal favorite...Isaac Asimov. I also especially enjoyed Asimov because his stories were always primarily about people...just set in the future.
