    Automatically opening optical drives

    Okay, so Vista has this cool "feature" where if you select an empty optical drive in Explorer, it opens so you can put a disc in.

    Except mine doesn't, because there's a rather heavy case door in front of it. It just sits there struggling until I reach down and open the door, then close the drive.

    Does anyone know if there's a way to disable this? I'd expect it to be all over Google by now, but I can't find much.

    Sorry, haven't got an answer but it bugs me too, so I thought I'd move it up again.
