Where to get printer drivers...
Hey all, I bought a wireless print server and have found that I need to have the actual drivers for the printer in order to use the wireless print server. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I have an HP OfficeJet 6200 series all-in-one printer and I can't actually find just the drivers. I have the setup CD and believe it or not I can't find the drivers alone on that CD. I tried looking for them on HP's web site and all they offer is a DL of the setup CD. I searched the web but couldn't find them. I went to driverguide.com and couldn't find them there, either. Does anyone here know where I can find them or know of a way I can extract them from the setup CD? If not I will simply return the print server, but I'd rather not go that route unless it's necessary. Let me know what you think.

Which wireless printer server did you get? The printer drivers should have been installed on the PC the printer was originally connected to, so they should be there somewhere. What exactly happens when you try to set up the wireless print server? Some wireless print servers are not able to work with some printers, so the make and model would be helpful.

I got the following print server:
ENCORE ENPSWI-G Wireless Print Server - Retail

I contacted them before purchasing it to make sure my printer would work and they told me it would. I have some ideas on how to get just the drivers, since using the install software for the printer doesn't seem to work.
I agree. Any PC that had the printer installed on it should have the driver somewhere, but finding it is the problem. When I go into the Add Printers Wizard and go to HP and than go down the list of HP drivers there isn't one for my OfficeJet. It's very annoying.

The HP link is below. However, it is for the software on the CD. It also says that "This installation DOES NOT SUPPORT networked (Ethernet or wireless) installations." You might try contacting HP support on this issue.
