recycle bin/Vista
I negligently deleted the recycle bin in windows Vista.
I had to do the hard way: recovered my HDD by using Acronis TI.
Is there any easy way to recovering my recycle bin without using my Acronis TI?
Thank you

Control Panel | Personalization...Left panel: Change Desktop icons:
Recycle Bin checked? Hit restore Default. Did that do it????

Murf,
I did recover the hard way: using my Acronis TI.
But thank U for the tip. I will use it the next time.
This is the 3rd time I delete the recycle bin. Don't know why I have the tendancy to hit the "delete" instead of the "empty recycle bin"

Hi, Murf
I got it. Thanks
I had to change to "classic view" to find the "personalization" icon.
Have a nice day.

All you are doing is deleting the shortcut, not the RB itself. All you need to do to put it back is to right-click the Desktop, choose Personalize, then in the left-hand pane click "Change desktop icons". In the dialog box that comes up just check Recycle Bin.
Nick.
