    Is IncrediMail replacing Outlook Express

Read somewhere that IncrediMail is replacing Outlook Express.

What is the scoop on this IncrediMail?

I do not mind downloading it just to try it out. Don't want to download it and have it hijack and replace Outlook Express.

Will I be happy with IncrediMail?

Well, OE ain't all that ... IncrediMail is basically OE on steroids and not a good thing generally. Bloatware type ... if you want a good email client check here:

    Abhoth:
Having switched to Firefox several years ago, I am a firm believer in the Mozilla products. Did not know, or did not recall, that Mozilla had an email program. Will certainly look into this.

    Thanks much.

You'll be way happier with Thunderbird... you can theme it and such much like Firefox.

I would NEVER recommend IncrediMail. Based on what I've seen, it's bloated with useless screen filling "stuff" and does not uninstall very well. My perspective is that email is email. It doesn't need to be flashy. (IM has ads too doesn't it?) Thunderbird is, IMO, light years better than IM.

Oh, and to my knowledge, IM is not replacing OE. OE is just changing it's name to Windows Mail on Vista...
