In T-bird... Tools / Account Settings ... depending upon your setup check local folder or server setting. Look for the local directory path and there you have it.... Should look something like this: C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\ijpolz79.default\Mail\Local Folders
You'll need to enable browse hidden files to see some of it if you go there directly.... Bottom line: Back up your Documents and Settings folder on the C: drive and you should be good. You'll want to check that path first though just to be sure....
