Lost new mail notification, since I started using Trend Micro Anti-Spam

Using OE and XP.

I need the new mail notification that OE provides in the system tray. Sometimes I want to respond to email as soon as it comes it. I downloaded Trend Micro Anti-Spam and no longer get the notification. Trend does not provide any support, that I could find. Could find nothing on a web search.

Is there a way I can keep Trend's anti spam and still get the new mail notification icon?

The Play sound when new messages arrive feature of Outlook Express does not work when TMAS is installed in the user’s computer. This common issue appears because the third party module inside TMAS influences the function of sound notification. It is listed in the Readme file, item 7.17.

Thanks jerryctx. Don't know why I could not find that information when I went to the Trend site. Now, I have to look for an anti-spam program which will not interfere with new mail notification, if there is such a program.
