I Think It Is Zone Alarm Problem????
On my PC and Laptop I have ZA 6.5.737.000 Free version and both of them have Internet Zone Security set on HIGH, Trusted Zone Security set on Medium.
I have no problem with connecting to internet by my PC but unless I set Internet Zone Security to Medium, my Laptop does not connect to Internet.
I just can not figure out why?
I run AVG 7.5.432 Free version on both machines too.

hmmm--If you temporarily disable ZA on the laptop, does the problem go away?
The fact that you can access the internet on the desktop suggests that ZA 6.5.737.000 (with the same IE settings and antivirus) is not the problem. Have you tested your Internet connection on the laptop? Like Start|Run|type ping (your ISP's name and domain--with out the parentheses)|Enter.
If the latter shows no connection, perhaps you should ask your ISP for help or Control Panel|Internet Connections|right click on your LAN connection|Repair.

Thank you for your answer Welshjim.
I have no problem connecting to internet via my Laptop but only when Internet Zone Security set to Medium. When I set it to HIGH it will not connect.
But as I said Zone Alarm in my PC is always set to HIGH and no connection problem at all.
They are networked and I use ZYXEL 600 series.

Looks like a setting is blocking your connection so try resetting all to defaults and see if that helps.

I presume you mean ZA settings?
