Please Recommend DVD Authoring & DVD Creation Software

    Hi, everybody, Happy Holidays,

I need help, and appreciate it if you can recommend me a good: easy-to-use, not memory-hog, not Windows-Freezer piece of software which can do the following for me.

I have about 80 files of .mov format, each runs for about 4 minutes in length, totalling 1.8 GB. I want to burn them all onto DVD to play on my TV. I would like to create a menu or series of menus for the whole set i.e. menus with 2 levels deep, or better, list them all out by filename (one line per file). [I would be creative with the filename so that they would not exceed 80 characters each], so that I can pick the video by file name.

I have Ulead 3.0. In the simmer, I tried it out, it cannot do what I want. . The program bombs out on converting from mov to DVD video Now I am on vacation, I want to try it again with another piece of software.

Any suggestions (I would not mind buying the software if it really works). Ulead costed me a bit when I bought it 2 years ago, and I have Nero 6 (oem version - ie. the basic of the most basic one which comes with the DVD burner)...

    Look forward to your help.
    Newbie.

    Hi, Dysle
Does it mean that I have to upgrade my oem version of Nero 6 ?

What about one-line-menu or 2-level menu creation for menu building ?

    Thanks,

Yes the OEM versions are usually crippled or reduced in some way from the full version. You can try the 30day shareware edition to see if it meets your needs: http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php
