I just don't understand the mentality of some people. I wonder if she'd open up her house and let it be used as a crack den? Yet, despite all the publicity, people leave their computers wide open like that. I don't accept that a firewall will significantly affect the performance of even an old PC, and it certainly won't affect it as much as being used as a zombie bot will.
