And what well behaved kids Pete has, and I generally can't stand kids (unless they're cooked just so).

What Happened To Ana?
I just came across this thread for the first time today and noticed that the last posting was dated Jan. 2007. I went to Ana's web site and the last update there was March 2007. What happened to her? Is she OK? Being a nurse, I am always interested in medical problems that people have and especially when it concerns children.

She is making a full recovery. The big problem now for the family is the $90,000 debt this has caused.

Good golly, that is a lot of money--that family will be paying off that debt for the rest of their lives. Too bad that all that money that the government sends overseas all the time to help out other countries that they couldn't help some of our citizens right here. They are sending millions of dollars overseas just for birth control and here we are trying to save a life that has already been born! I believe in helping others, but the old saying is true to me, "Charity begins at home!"
I am in the middle of a career change (due to an unexpected disability) and am in school at the present, so I am without income at this time. But as soon as I am finished school and can get a job, I will try to help out a little. It will be a year before I finish school, but I am sure they will still need help by the time I am through with school and have a job.
