Cell Phone Bugs
A friend of mine just brought this to my attention. Didn't know where to put it....so dropped it here in the lounge. If you guys want to move it....feel free....

The FBI appears to have begun using a novel form of electronic surveillance in criminal investigations: remotely activating a mobile phone's microphone and using it to eavesdrop on nearby conversations.
The technique is called a "roving bug," and was approved by top U.S. Department of Justice officials for use against members of a New York organized crime family who were wary of conventional surveillance techniques such as tailing a suspect or wiretapping him.
I'm about ready to throw away all my elctronic gear.....and live in a cave in Wyoming. There are no more privacy rights left in this country I fear.....

I cvan tell you were there are some places in Montanna where it would be over 150 miles to the grocery store. Is that far enough back for you?
