Anyone know a good wysiwyg html editor...

Front Page s\/(ks it f*(ks up formating and is bloated with cr4p
The Dreamweaver I have is buggy
NVU just currupted a html doc and that's also buggy
Netscape composer is too old. It likes to put a return at the top of every page you create and doesn't understand the css cr4p

Please help me before a major internal head injury occurs. More time is spent with redoing stuff and work arounds than is actually getting stuff done.

I want something that leaves things as they are and as I put them. This goes for the formating of the html code that so many editors like to screw up.

I have even tried gmail's new docs, I think they used the same mozillia nvu source because it has the exact same bugs and screwy behavior.

    Thanx!

I use notepad and Dreamweaver 4.

Front page and Word html you can open in DW and get rid of the BLOAT.

I'm a little surprised no one mentioned Nvu here: http://www.nvu.com. I too am a frustrated FrontPage user and have loaded Nvu on my system. It looks good but I really haven't made the transition yet.

Whoops- I see that you did mention Nvu and had problems. I think it still is a young product and don't think in handles code from other systems too well. Did you try to import Frontpage code to it?
