    Resolved [RESOLVED] System Restore Problem

    I wanted to create manual System Restore point.
    But it cames up with;

    rstrui.exe Application Error
    System Restore
    The application failed to initalize properly ( 0xc0000006 ).
    Click OK to terminate the application.

    Help appreciated please.
    Thank you.
    PS : I have just realized.....My "System Restore" is not in System Properties either.

    Hello hmmm

    Try running system file check.

    Get your XP installation CD ready then
    Start/Run and type in
    sfc /scannow (there is a space before /)
    OK
