Hi All--Sorry to be such a Pest lately..
Have Bragged recently that my PC is one of the Safest!! LOL
I must stop bragging!

My DESKTOP Icon from Taskbar went missing (don't know why or how) but I eventually found it within another programs files....I put it back on the Taskbar n thought no more about it....It's working, but for some strange reason I found another within a Programs files..Have now Dragged it to the Desktop (temporarily) awaiting your Answer as to WHY that should happen, n what I should do about it!.
Question 2----AVG Anti-Spyware found a "Trojan.Crypt.J" in my PC today..What is it, what does it do! ??- n how the Fuff! did it get there..I stick to trusted sites these days so am baffeled by it....
Once again THANKS for your Help..

Although there's little info about Trojan.Crypt.J specifically there are many Trojan.Crypt.X (where X is a new variant) and they all appear to be a typical trojan that deposits a worm on the hard drive.
I can't tell you where you got it... surfing, email, wherever but there is a possibility that it just got detected because AVG had just been updated with a new dat file meaning one of two things... it's been there undetected for a while or it's a false positive.
Submit the virus file here..
http://virusscan.jotti.org/
and see what they say about it.
As far as the moving desktop icons.. I dunno except that it isn't likely virus related... others can chime in on that if they've seen it before.

Is it OK for me to Delete this ICON of my DESKTOP that I now have on my Desktop...It is NOT a shortcut!

Probably ok to delete it but why not put it in a temp folder for a little while and see if it affects anything? Delete it after a week or so.
