    wmp 11 hit the street

    MS denied my wmp 11 installation.
    After validation, the setup asked me to go to windows update to get the update rollover 2 for win XP MCE 2005.
    I already have win XP MCE SP2
    Very strange

    Do you have all of the available updates from the Windows Update website? If you haven't already, check out the following:

    Thanks for the link. It does not solve my problem, yet.
    I installed the wmp11 to my other PC with only WinXP: no problem at all: it was a success.
    For some reasons, wmp11 does not like WinXP MCE.

    Download the update rollup from here and try installing it manually.
