    PC not really turning off

    Hi again,

    post for my brother-in-law's PC.

He has an eMachine tower, not sure which model. Anyways, as he had a new kitchen fitted he moved out whilst that was being done and PC was fine then. Came back after kitchen ws fitted, PC looked untouched but

    1) No Sound
    2) When he clicks turn off, it goes through all the normal stuff, screen turns off but the fans are all still spinning and the HDD light is flickering on and off radpidly.

No too fussed about the sound I can c=fix that another time but the power thing - not seen that before?

He has left it 40 mins and it's still on. He has to turn off by the plug. Not really quite sure what to suggest to him :P

    Thanks
