Graphics Card Comparison
Why hello Vdr!
Its been a long time, way to long, and I'm afriad I've fallen behind on the hardware times. Been stuck in networking
So anyways, time for a PC upgrade, inc Graphics card.
I had a 9200SE which was poor for playing games, so I bought a refurb 9800Pro.
It was fantastic until it started crashing every so often.
So now I have ordered the X1300. Without really researching it (shame on me) (price was right) but I want to know, how much better/worse is this card to the 9800Pro and how will it affect gaming performance?
From this page http://apps.ati.com/ATIcompare/ (Click X1300 and 9800 Pro 128)
Specifications - worried about Memory Interface/Pipelines/Pixel Fillrate
Its seems on those sections, the 9800Pro is better, but how does that all relate taking into account other variables as well?
Thanks in advance
Hong

I wouldn't personally go for a X1300 either Hong, ATI are trying to blind you with large numbers, to make you assume the X1300 would be better than the X800 for example, and it isn't. Example: http://apps.ati.com/ATIcompare/result.asp 4 x the PS and Pipes.
What's your budget for a graphics card? PCI-E? ATI only?

Cool, it has half the pipes, and half the VP's of the 7900GT, BUT faster clocks. What make is it?

It kills the 9800 Pro on memory clock and pipes alone.
