Anyone who has MSN for their ISP

If you do, you know they've upgraded their sign-in program. That part is fine by me. What is *not* fine is what i found when i ran Reg Cleaner just after the upgrade!

I had just done my usual housecleaning a day before, but decided to do it again because i had uninstalled a couple of things. When i ran Reg Cleaner it found *86* junk entries and all of them related to Micro$oft!!

Just thought i'd pass this along as a heads-up. I am now a firm believer in what i've heard about the "bloatware" they put out...

MSN6.0 was not a pleasant experience anyway. List too long to mention. Even dropped down to MSN5.1 to get popmail but it was really slow. I now have a local ISP for less bucks and non of the dumb ads. Pop3, fast, and slick IE5.5. Dropping MSN and Mcafee was greatest choice and benefit in a long time.
    Thanks for the info.

I use MSN and Compaq as my home page. IE5.5 and a local server. Dropped Mcafee when I picked up Innoculate. Had alot less trouble after that change. Thanks for info.
