[RESOLVED] Installing IE7
I have read so much info on this, now I'm confused. (not hard to do)....
I've downloaded IE7, but have not installed yet.
When installing, should I disable my AV (avast), and Firewall (ZA free), before installing, as well as being off line (dial-up)?
I downloaded from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...s/default.mspx

when I installed IE7, I downloaded it from the microsoft site ... took myself offline and disabled my antivirus ... the install went fine ... it will tell you at the end of the install that there were updates that didn't install and tell you to go to the windows update site to get them ...

Thanks WelshJim.
I'll check it out.
My install went okay so far. Now to try to get used to the differences.
IE still takes longer to load than FireFox> I was hoping for it to have sped up.
Anyway, I'll have some fun figuring it out...
