FWIW, I've been running all the beta versions, and there have been no major issues with IE7 at all, it's a very nice browser, and much morre secure than IE6.

Does the final version still allow reversion to IE 6 from Add/Remove. Are there any tutorials available yet, especially mentioning "little" unexpected idiosyncrasies? Or is Help the only source?

Yes, it can be removed from Add/Remove Programs.

Hi Weskjim Since IE7 is a Windows Upgrade and not just a Browser upgrade it is not easy to return to IE 6. I read that it is possible to go back but have not found anything in the IE 7 help online saying how to do so short of editing the registry which is recommended by microsoft.
- Personally I waited until the second beta edition as there were too many glitches with the first. The final version works extremely well and will be welcome to those looking for a tabbed browsing option and a lot of other features previously known only to Opera or Firefox browser users.
- The new GUI takes some getting used to but there is always an option to use the more classic look.
- Word of warning.... Both the MSN and Yahoo browsers use IE for functionality and connections and both have lost some features as they are not compatible with the new IE. Both the Yahoo and MSN browsers will be upgraded within the next couple of months to be compatible with IE 7.
If you are using the latest Yahoo and MSN browsers be prepared for some glitches. I am in contact with both the Yahoo and MSN support people on a daily basis and they will advise when glitches are taken care of. Yahoo expects a complete update of their current browser in their Q4.

tiberiuscan--Thanks for your comments. I have had problems with Google Toolbar and IE7. And of course there is all the moving and altering of toolbars. Some of that can be simplied by using the tweaks here

I've had several lockups,and my system has slowed some since upgraded. Which doesn't surprise me.

That just about sums it up. I downloaded and installed it yesterday and it was a total disaster. It was appallingly slow, it fouled up Norton Antivirus and one or two other things, and like JBH1876 I immediately uninstalled it. It reverted to IE6 with no problem.

Is anybody experiencing debug error messages? I'm working in IE7 and Yahoo (I don't think these two are compatible) and everything was OK until this a.m. when it started crashing and giving debug error messages. If there is a fix, where do I find it? thanks. In the meantime, I'm back with FF.

Sal gal. I'm running IE7 along with the Yahoo toolbar for quite a while now and haven't occurred any problems. I would think they would be compatible.

I have Yahoo Toolbar, Google toolbar and using IE7, which I like, except every now and then like this a.m. it starts to "debug". I can always switch to FF.
