IP Conflict??
My Laptop and PC are networked. Connected to ADSL modem. Using Zone Alarm 6.5.737.000 Free version.
All of a sudden tonight both machines started to give me this warning:
Windows System Error
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network.
IP address of my Laptop always finishes with 33
IP address of my PC always finishes with 34
Now they both finish with 33....I suppose this is the problem...
I have no idea why and how it has started.
Eventually I got disconnected from Internet, when I disconnected laptop cable from the modem, I was able to connect to Internet by my PC.
Help Appreciated.

Do you have a router between your modem and the computers?
Sounds like your ip will not allow you to use a 2nd ip number anymore.

Well I read a couple pages and see that is a zero config unit.
So let us see if we can force a reset of that unit.
Shut your computers down.
Unplug the power from the 660H...
wait 1 full minute
Now plug in the power and when it is fully operational, only then boot up one computer and test it.
If all is OK, leave it running and bootup the other one. Test it.
Let us know how things work out.
