    Resolved [RESOLVED] Unable To Edit Thread Post

    I'm logged in but when I go to this thread http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...d.php?t=211713 I can't edit my first post ?? Just gives me the option of Quote or Quick Reply, the Edit Icon is missing ??

    I believe you can only edit for 30 minutes ... then the option goes away

    As far as I know it was recently changed and its an hour... not 30 minutes as I first thought.

    That is all the info I have. Maybe someone else will elaborate if there is more info available.

    Yep, that's why. Because some people were removing their posts when they got their answer, and that renders the forum useless as a knowledge bank. Didn't know how else to address it other than start banning folks. But that doesn't really help the forum either. If it's that important a mod will edit it for you.

    they probably aren't trying to be sptiteful when they delete after their question is answered they are simply trying to "free up space on the Internet".
