Seeking bootlog file in Win 98
Thanks to virtualdr and all the heplful folk posting I have not for 4 years had to get paid assistance with problems with Win98. A major problem had arisen
( When I switched on I got 'Zilch ' ! ) so I took the machine to a local shop.
Having paid someone to correct the problem and being pleased generally with what they did, I find a month or so later, that I am not now able to produce a bootlog. I gave them my Win98 disk to set up the machine when they had fixed it and I am guessing that perhaps they used another Win98 disk.
I have searched the machine and cannot find a relevant file.
Can someone out there please tell me how to install the necessary file or files from my own Win98 disk.
All help will be appreciated

When you boot to the bootmenu. You can select the item with bootlog listed. It creates C:\bootlog.txt.

Just to add to Train's post, TweakUI has a tab named "Boot" with a box you can tick/untick for "Always show boot menu" and you can specify the number of seconds it will show.
