Will CDs, DVDs, Zip drives be over?
A student has developed a technique for portable data whereby the data can now be stored on ordinary paper.

Sainul says the biggest advantage of the new technology would be the biodegradable nature of his storage devices which would do away with the e-waste pollution.
Interesting but I thought the nature of the media would make long term storage self defeating as it degrades over time

We have come almost full circle....
Soon we will be placing data on papyrus and etching it in stone walls......ancient Egypt, 4 thousand+ years ago......
Pretty deep......huh?

Oh how I long to go back to the days of scanning in paper after paper ..... what a joy that was
