removing win 2k from slave
Hello,
I am working on installing a new HD with XP Pro. I have an 80 gig slave that I found out has win 2k on already. Is there any trick to removing this OS while it is a slave? I found this out after hooking it up. It worked fine but on one reboot an error came up about corrupt/missing himem, command, etc etc. so right now I am doing the XP install. thanks for your help/ideas.

If you do not need any of the data on this drive, I suggest you reformat it.
Right click the 'My Computer' icon and select 'Manage'. Highligh 'Disk Management' on the left hand side. On the right hand side, right click on the drive that has Win2K installed and select 'Format'.
The only barrier to knowledge is the perception that you already have it.
