IE7 Beta 3 will not install...

[hmmm]

I have been running IE7 Beta 2 on my laptop without any problem. I tried to install (twice) IE7 Beta 3 but it will not install.
After failing to install it leaves a short cut on the desktop for trouble shooting purpose.

Followed the instructions but no avail.

I had a very similar log. I called Microsoft and got the idea of installing IE7 B3 in safe mode and it seems to be working.

Install It in safe mode as administrator, it was IE7 tech. supports idea. Otherwise it did not let installer change registry. Now i don't know much, but, why it made indestructible copy of IE7 on my secondary hard drive? And why it's so integrated and complicated that you can hardly uninstall or reinstall IE. What’s the deal especially vs. Mozilla. Good Luck
